This project in Navan, Co. Meath was about getting much more from the property as a whole.
Pat and Rosaleen wanted to expand and improve their existing house, but they also saw an opportunity to create a completely separate own-door apartment to the side of the home. That meant the project needed to do two things well: upgrade the main house to a high standard and create a self-contained space that would add long-term value.
The build included a two-storey side extension along with a full renovation of the main house, giving the property a much stronger layout, better finish, and a more modern feel throughout. Every part of the work was carried out with care and attention to detail, resulting in a home that feels more spacious, more practical, and finished to a high standard.
Outside, work to the back garden helped tie the whole project together and make better use of the surrounding space. The new side apartment now provides a completely separate unit with its own entrance, adding flexibility to the property and creating a valuable extra asset.
The end result is a home that works harder in every sense, improved for the owners, upgraded throughout, and enhanced by a separate apartment that is now rented out and generating rental income.
It is a great example of how thoughtful building work can improve everyday living while also unlocking the wider potential of a property.
