The owners of this small terraced house in Rialto, Dublin wanted to make their home work better for everyday life.

The property had plenty of potential, but the layout felt tight and the space was no longer serving them as well as it could. They wanted a home that felt more comfortable, more practical, and better suited to the way they lived.

To create that, we added a rear kitchen extension that gave them the extra room they needed and helped open up the back of the house. As part of the project, we also carried out a full renovation, reworking the layout to improve flow and make better use of the available space throughout the home.

We reconfigured the living space to create a layout that felt more open, functional, and easier to live in day to day. The bathroom was also fully renovated, bringing it up to a much higher standard and helping the home feel more fresh, modern, and complete.

The finished result is a beautifully improved terraced house that feels brighter, more spacious, and far more suited to modern living. It is a great example of how a thoughtful extension and renovation can completely transform a smaller home without changing what people already love about where they live.
